100 Years of Brazilian Animation

That's right, the Brazilian animation is completing 100 years of life. It all started with a short called The Kaiser in January 1917, by Álvaro Marins "Seth". William II wants to rule the world with his helmet, but the world grows and ends up swallowing him.
I sure wanted to see this short but unfortunately the movie was not preserved and was lost. All we have now is a single frame of the film, which came out in a magazine of the time. solomonos.cl/home/wp-content/u…

Brazilian animation has always been a path of difficulties due to the government of the time, with dictatorships or censors, did not have much freedom of expression.
But he managed to survive.

Nowadays, the animation in Brazil has grown, expanding to other countries, and I am proud to be part of it.
